November Business Meetings (NBM) for Reinsurers 2018

The XVII Annual November Business Meetings for Reinsurers took place on November 21-22, 2018 in Moscow.

Modern Business Center located in the historic building in the very center of Moscow was chosen to be the venue for the seventh year running.

In his opening speech, the Chairman of the NBM Organizing Committee and Chief of Reinsurance Department of IPJSC Ingosstrakh – Igor Alekseev, welcomed the attendees.

In his speech, he noted that despite the difficult economic situation, representatives of the reinsurance market continue to act properly and through their involvement they demonstrate the value and necessity of holding such meetings.

The event attendees were 174 representatives of 83 companies from 19 countries:

Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bahrain, Belarus, the United Kingdom, Germany, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Panama, Poland, Russia, Romania, North Korea, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, South Korea.

With the delegation of 17 representatives from 8 companies, Uzbekistan became one of the most active participants of the event.

The NBM format has proved itself to be the most preferable and convenient for meetings and negotiations taking a couple of days in a single location. And the given opportunity to book tables and halls for negotiations in advance, as well as to obtain lists with contacts of participants, greatly enhanced the effectiveness of work.

After the end of business part, on the evening of November 21, participants and guests were able to enjoy Beaujolais Nouveau holiday organized by the Moscow Representative Office of SCOR (France).

The event was traditionally supported by Ingosstrakh – General Partner and SCOR (France) – Partner.
