November Business Meetings (NBM) for Reinsurers 2019

On November 20-21, 2019, the XVIIIth Annual November Business Meetings for Reinsurers took place in Moscow.

The modern Business Сenter located in the historic building in the very сenter of Moscow traditionally was chosen to be the venue. 

On the first day of the event Igor Alekseev, the Chairman of the NBM Organizing Committee, the Deputy Director of the Reinsurance Department of IPJSC Ingosstrakh, addressed to the participants with his welcoming speech. 

In his speech, he briefly dwelled on the positive and negative aspects in development of the insurance and reinsurance markets both in Russia and abroad. But, despite all the difficulties, he urged the participants to make the most of the opportunities of the November Meetings in order to strengthen cooperation with the current partners, search for new ones and further develop their businesses.

The event was attended by 149 representatives of 76 companies from the following countries: 

Azerbaijan, Belarus, the United Kingdom, Germany, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, South Korea.

Representatives of Uzbekistan took an active part in the event, the delegation of which included 27 representatives of 12 companies.

For the first time, the NBM participants were representatives of the Federation of African-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers - the Secretary General and his assistant.

All participants noted the convenience and comfortable conditions for the event, the business atmosphere and the possibility of free communication. All of this made it possible to most effectively conduct the maximum number of negotiations and meetings in a single place and in a short time. 

At the end of the business part, on the evening of November 21, the Moscow Office of SCOR (France) organized the Beaujolais Nouveau celebration for the participants and guests.
